Again, a very busy week, with only one day of Internet access on which I was dying after a puke fest.
So, from Kathmandu, to Birtamod, Nepal, should only be a 15 hour bus ride. Ours was a 19 hour bus ride of death. The driver was speeding up and down mountains like the devil himself was on our tail. It brings a whole new meaning to "I saw my life flash before my eyes.' But as Dinah say, "My salvation is assured." After finally arriving in Birtamod, our host Zoell took us to the guest house. His wife Issa is super sweet. Their two kids, Ava and Avi are sweet too. Ava is a pro Uno player. The weather in Birtamod greatly differed from that of Kathmandu. Where Kathmandu was cold, Birtamod was pleasantly warm. Birtamod is smaller that Kathmandu and the people are more friendly. About the third day there. everyone got sick. There was a puke fest almost every night. I thought I was going to die. It was amazing.
There was a day when we went to a village, and it was hard no considering it an epic fail, because we were rejected so many times. But the first day, Kim, Dinah, Kate, and Lydia went out and 3 guys became Christians!
We did the Everything drama four times. I don't think many people understood it, but it was still a good crowd drawer.
Zoell's church had a youth day, which was fun. We did the drama, taught about hearing God's voice, and intercession. Then we just chilled with some of the people.
