So, we LAX was a success. The we sat around in Heathrow Airport in London for 9 hours. Most of us slept. I know that I slept for 4 hours. Then we flew 6 hours to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, which is where I am right now. We got here at 6 am on Sunday and we hung out at Bahrain International Airport for 6 hours. We boarded the plane to Kathmandu and halfway there we had to turn around due to weather making the airport in Kathmandu invisible. So the airline put us up in a hotel for the night. We had to get up at 1 am so we could get to the airport for our 3:15 flight, but when we got here we found out that the flight ha been delayed until around 5 am. We'll be hanging in the airport for the rest of our lives. No big deal. It's actually quite fun. Our team quote book/journal has so many quotes already. We are going to have the best quote book of all the outreach teams. And our new tickets may have us sitting in first class, which is freakin' awesome. Something really funny right now, the screen on which I am typing is in Arabic. I think Arabic is a beautiful language. Both the writing and the speech. My love of languages is taking over and I now want to learn Arabic, because I'm insane. And the service on the planes is amazing. They always make sure you are okay and they are really nice. On the flight to Kathmandu, we had our first curry. It was super good. This has to be the most random blog post I have ever written. So now wyou know where I am and what I'm doing. I have to now tell you the the title to this post isn't entirely accurate, we aren't really that bored
Well, this at least explains why you didn't answer back on FB. Glad to catch up on some of the info. Also glad you had access to a hotel room with a shower since you've been traveling forever. ;) Proud of you baby girl!
